Our Oppinion of Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta « Xperience Gaming

First i would like to say is WELCOME BACK TACTICAL SHOOTER !!! Now thats off my chest we shall begin, as many of you may know the Ghost Recon Future Soldier beta has been underway for the last 2 days and have seen tens of thousands of people get stuck in and test what seems to be a potential game of the year. Ghost Recon takes everything we loved from previous Tom Clancy games and throws it all together, which could be seen as a very bold move as we have seen countless games try to make something new and fail miserably. However, with Ghost Recon it actually works, the tactical shooting from Rainbow Six and the dynamic cover system from Splinter Cell Conviction actually work and fuse together to make a blinding tactical experience.

When you first play this game there are many of you who will find it very hard and even like you have never played a shooter before, this is because there is hardly any game out there now that involves shooting and the need for tactical thinking and strategy. This is what makes this so successful as it has the speed and gunplay to compare to games such as Call Of Duty however has something much more that makes this game stand out and this is the whole dynamic mechanics. But when you actually get hang of this you can guarantee if will be on your must have lists for 2012.

The graphics are amazing, not as good as they could be but remember that this is only a beta and you can expect a whole lot more when this is released later in May. The whole customization of a character also makes this game unique to modern shooters as there has not been any real character customization for Shooters since Rainbow Six. Even though the customization isn’t as in depth it still feels nice to be able to modify your character to your personal preference. As well as the character customization, there is the spectacular Weapon customization and optimization. The customization allows you to literally change everything from the trigger all the way to the colour of the gun, this will see you fighting to unlock the parts to make the perfect gun. Weapon optimization allows you to tell the game what kind of gun you would like to make, for example I can tell the game that I want to be optimized for long range fighting, the gun will then change everything and swap all the parts to get the best results suited to my choice.

The demo does not include Kinect functions, but as you all know this is a guaranteed addition to the actual game so we can forgive them for this. On that note our final thoughts are that this game is amazing and keeping us playing and this is just the beta so we are all excited to actually get our hands on the finished product.
