Red Bull and Los Angeles’s radio station KROQ have officially teamed up to create a unique performance space designed to host a series of intimate live rock shows. Located at KROQ‘s headquarters, the Red Bull Sound Space at KROQ was originally the radio stations sales department that has since been gutted and replaced with top-of-the-line sound and lighting equipment. The space aims to fuse together an on-air broadcast with a live webcast, inviting fans from around the world to a front row seat at their newly designed venue. Coldplay opened the space late last year, performing songs from their “Mylo Xyloto,” as well as tracks from previous albums. We recently had the opportunity to check out an intimate performance by Of Monsters and Men at the Red Bull Sound Space. The six piece indie folk band from Iceland performed a number of their songs, including popular hits such as ‘Little Talks’ and ‘Love Love Love.’ You can check out a preview of the performance by Of Monsters and Men below.
