The square-cut wide neckline on tees and sweaters has been big for two seasons now – Jil Sander, Martin Margiela and now Dries Van Noten has released their own version. Today’s sweater from Dries Van Noten has that hit of modernness one expects from Dries Van Noten and a subtle hint of cool.
The use of brown and white stripes to contrast the dark navy is a little unexpected. You don’t see a lot of brown on navy and it’s with that that we have to give Mr Noten props for bringing to light another worthy color combination. I like how the three colors fuse together to create a vision of refinement that is subdued yet eye-catching enough to garner second looks.
