REVIEW: Timur Shafiev - Infarct out on Interstate/Infrasonic

1-Original Mix
2-Arcalis Remix

Another new comer in Timur Shafiev makes his debut on the Interstate Recordings imprint with the excellent Infarct.

Centering around a divine lead synth which is an ever present throughout the track, Infarct plays host to some superb percussion arrangements, a big bottom end and some lovely melodic fillers that all fuse together perfectly when the track is in full flow.

Also making his debut on Interstate is Arcalis, with a thumping interpretation made with a dance-floor in mind. Leaving the delicate sound of the original behind for something a little more banging, Arcalis serves up a fine take which provides a perfect foil for the slower, original mix.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The upcoming artist Timur Shafiev offers to Interstate his brand new progressive trancer including a brilliant Arcalis remix. First of all the original mix is a powerful prog trancer with tech trance influences. Metalic tech beats and in contrast on top some feel good summery melody that lead us on the second lengthy breakdown that introduce us to the main theme. Its techy and very tasty as well. Arcalis from his side delivers a much more progressive trance version that follows the path of the Markus Schulz/Coldharbour sound. Deeper darker basslines that drive the proceedings forward that lead us on the amazing breakdown with various melodic layers in play that is very involving and attractive for the ear. When the top bouncy dark beat is bass along with the excellent melodies the result is a huge epic climax perfect to use as peak time choice for any prog trance/big room set as well. Like IT!
