fifedirect - Kirkcaldy Acoustic Music Club present - Kellie Buchanan ...

Kellie Buchanan; Mark Dunlop; Coaltown Daisies.

Kellie Buchanan:

Kellie Buchanan is a young singer songwriter originally from Dundee, but now living in Kirkcaldy. She has been writing and performing her songs for almost ten years, and this is the foundation upon which she is now building her own business to try to make a name for herself in the music industry. Kellie has worked in many different musical groups, including a folk band, orchestra, rock group and punk band. The majority of her music was written for just acoustic guitar and one vocal, but she is branching out and now writes for her blues band -her next bold venture!

Mark Dunlop:

Originally from Northern Ireland, and now living in Scotland. Mark Plays the tin whistle, the bodhran, the flute and the uilleann pipes; and sings!!; so who knows what we'll get? He composes his own material and has played with Karine Polwart and was recently a member of Malinky.

Coaltown Daisies:

The Coaltown Daisies are Lynzy Moutter and Vivienne Bern. The Coaltown Daises fuse together the musical stylings of two established singer-songwriters. Both have an abundance of experience in a variety of areas of music from organising one of Fife's most successful music nights to recording in Hollywood with highest calibre of session musicians. It is no surprise that their shared passion for music in all shapes and sizes steered them towards meeting in the middle and collaborating just last year. Detailing their music with dual harmonies, intelligent lyrics and raw emotion, they want nothing more than to perform in front of a great audience.
