FRONT END SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Kaufman Rossin Fund Services is seeking an experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our team to work part time on our User Interface.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
•You have a portfolio to show the work you have done in the past. You can show us sketches, annotated wireframes, mockups and prototypes
•You have strong Graphic Designer skills and experience. You have used Visual Design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks or similar packages (Gimp being a great alternative)
•You like separation of concerns. You want front end responsibility, no databases, no back-end logic
•You master HTML, CSS and Javascript.
•You strive for the best possible User eXperience.
•You have developed AJAX driven UIs based on Open Source Frameworks like JQuery and YUI and at the same time you have skinned a site to comply with different user clients demands
•You have read the HTML/XHTML specification. You take advantage of HTML5 where available
•You build applications that run in any browser. You like DOM programming, Webkit or IE: not a problem.
•You build usable, accessible and high performance front front end
•You like JSON and use it in your projects
•You design and build user interfaces thinking on the user experience up front
•Your markup is semantic
•You have studied and learned the HTTP protocol
•You are willing to take front end development to the limit including contributing to automate User Acceptance Tests
•You want to be part of a team where Big Data, High Level Software Development and Front End Development fuse together to bring to this Hedge Fund Administrator the fastest, most reliable and appealing web based software in the industry
We use JSP and taglibs, but we do not expect you to know them. It is really simple technology that can be learned as we modify the current front end.
